My old colonial style village's shopping area. Used to have many old downtime businesses - - hardware store, apothecary, diner, shoe store, gift shop, grocery, camera shop, butcher... ONLY the post office, optician, ice cream parlor and a few delightful little restaurants. Many new retail businesses have been built (and changed hands numerous times)
It's a strip shopping center. Kinda says it all. Nothing exceptional.
