My family has been using this doctor for over 20 years. He has performed surgery on both my wife and I for cataracts. He has one of the best run office staffs of all the doctors that we use. My wife has had multiple conditions and Dr Basilice has always spend all the time needed to explain my wife's conditions and to reassure her about the course of treatment being used. We have recommended Dr Basilice to others who have also found him to be a great doctor. It is nice to get feedback from friends thanking us for the recommendation.
I was referred here by one of my relatives, and I must say this office goes above and beyond for their patients! I went here for a free Lasek Consultation, and Dr. Basilice and his staff were so patient, and thorough while explaining the entire procedure to me! They took the time to go over everything I needed to know, and what is to be expected before and after. They really calmed me down about the surgery, and put me at ease! It was nice leaving with a clear mind, and knowing I'm in good hands! I would highly recommend!!
I cannot recommend Dr. Basilice highly enough! He and his staff are professional and kind, I would not trust my eyes to anyone else. My father just had his cataract surgery done and the doctor went out of his way to make my dad feel comfortable and at ease about the procedure. His staff is very patient and they make sure all your questions are answered before you leave. From the moment you walk into the office, you can tell that Dr. Basilice genuinely cares for each of his patients!
As a medical professional, I highly research all doctors before making appointments. That said, I can honestly say, there are no reviews or words I can use to adequately describe the exceptional care and expertise Dr. Basilice brings to his Opthalmic patients. He is so knowledgable, and so experienced...I make the 36 mile trip to his office, passing dozens of Opthalmologists, because he is the only Dr. I trust my eyes to. He explains test results and procedures, employs very professional, yet friendly staff, and his office is immaculate and beautifully appointed. His state of the art testing is impressive, and sitting in the waiting room listening to other patients rave about how he has helped them is comforting to first time patients, I'm sure. It is worth the trip to know I'm in such good and capable hands. Dr. Basilice is tops in his field!
