I was scheduled for an appointment to get an MRI done, I then received a call 2hrs before my appointment to say that Dr.Samaras office didn't give authorization. I called the office & told the lady I just stood on hold for an hour. Her response was "Ok And". Lol I just have to laugh because I've never received such an unprofessional & dismissive response from a doctors office! She then transferred me to someone else, who I had to explain the situation to again. Her response was " Who are you? Are you even a patient here?" The amount of attitude from these employees are crazy! It's not worth the wait to see Dr.Samara. I would honestly just get a 2nd opinion and avoid the stress. I wouldn't recommend ANYONE to this office. Look up a better ENT.

A surgery that he thought would take 4 hrs took 8 hrs because he nicked my husbands carotid artery. Ok always a risk. But after surgery dr S never ever came to see my husband again, he sent residents, that discharged him too early... the night of discharge my husband coughed n bled to his death! I hope but writing this it will save somebody's life! This site would not allow me to go less than 1 star

My wife was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. We had Dr. Samara do the surgery. During the surgery he removed lymph nodes to do further testing. One came back as cancer but not thyroid cancer. He decided to inform us of this on a Friday at 5pm. We are a young family with 2 kids so this news was very shocking. He basically said that because it was a unknown cancer it wasn't his department. We had so many questions, we were overwhelmed, Its not every day you get this news. He said good luck and follow up with oncology and hung up. My wife and I froze after about 10 minutes of crying and had many questions. We called his office and got the auto attendant. Everyone left for the weekend. No emergency number nothing!! So here we are just got this news and he disappears!! He wasn't sincere, no recommendations who to see, nothing!!! And says good luck??? the minutes the hours go by. Monday couldn't come fast enough. We called Dr. Samaras office early Am and he wasn't in. Called later still nothing. We were very desperate for answers. Our family members didn't understand the diagnoses and we were very concerned. After 3 failed attempts we waited for his call. Dr. Samara finally called us back later in the day. He told us to hold it together and told my wife to be a mom. He was very rude and said don't call his office more then one time. He is very busy with other patients. I was totally shocked by what I heard and was shocked. This doctor has ZERO bedside manner. God forbid someone in his family gets life changing NEWS lets see how he reacts. STAY AWAY FROM DR. SAMARA!!!!

Doctor Samara is an excellent doctor , I have treated with him for the past four years, to give him a one star rating because his staff kept you on the phone for an hour is a bit much. Maybe he doesn't have the best bed side manners, not many doctors do. It's a busy office, be patient and he will help you.
